About me – Hello! My name is Shahna and I am aspiring writer! my love of reading started at an early age, I loved reading. I had always had a creative side to myself and always had a love for creating, so art has always been a topic of studying I fell into. My journey for writing started when I attended university, I studied many of medias including drawing, paint, video and audio. This is when my love of watercolour started and started to explore more explicit content which ended up being something I became passionate about, and found also other people also enjoy it too. This grew into a project which had me start a short story as I loved to mix my medias, this story was printed and handed out during and exhibition and it was a massive hit! I printed 100 copies to be safe and they was gone within half an hour and I was shocked! people loved it and people loved the watercolour artwork I created alongside which is what gave me the idea of starting to sell online which is what I started doing, I was selling a good amount and was commissioned for custom pieces and that is when fantasia by shahna started to grow. I loved selling my art and seeing people enjoy it but due to unforeseen circumstances I had to stop selling. For years now I felt something was missing in my life, I didn’t have time to be creative anymore. That until one day when I was cleaning out my boxes from my university project I came across a notebook which had some ideas stored in them and in that was a story that I had written and forgotten about. As I was reading I thought “oh dear! this has potential but needs a lot of cleaning up!” and thus that is when I thought well why not lets give it a go! now for over a year this little short story is growing into a novel, a world that is being built and I am now starting to feel that creative ich being scratched! That’s when other ideas for shirt stories started and its been a while for me to pluck up the courage to finally start to share them and now here we are! of course my novel is still being worked on and I have no desire to rush it as I want it to be perfect but in the mean time I will be sharing some short story ideas I hope you will enjoy!
